Has anyone switched from the mkiv (Seibon) style spoiler to the Verus wing or vice versa who can give me some information on the holes.

Will the brackets on the Verus wing completely hide the holes from the mkiv style? From watching install videos it appears it would, but would like a bit of confirmation if possible.

thanks

Pulled my Verus wing off last week for my wrap. Heres a pic so you can compare:

Thank you! It will definitely cover the mkiv holes, but looks like those two front holes from the Verus mount would be exposed when I switch back.

Was hoping to seamlessly switch back and forth. Guess I can’t have my cake and eat it too.

It took me 3 hours to remove the mounts and clean the adhesive. I would not suggest trying to regularly do that.

Did you ever end up switching? I've been wanting to do this myself since I have the seibon wing but want to get a better wing for track purposes.

I've done it. The verus mount covers 90% of the Seibon / MKIV style wing holes.

From the bottom, top, or both? Like, am I gonna have a visible hole from the top of my trunk with the Verus wing on there?
Reach out to them for the mount template. Then mock it up for yourself to see how you like it.

Sorry for this unrelated post. Dude, why not just let me know you were no longer interested in the brake pads you DMd me about? A simple not interested would have been easy and appreciated. Not responding, twice, after you reached out initially is kind of a dick move. Sold them to someone else though so no worries.

I'm asking you as someone who's done the swap, will the verus wing cover the hole on the top side of the trunk on its own, or do I need to do something else to cover it? Holes on the underside don't matter to me, I just don't want a hole on the top where rain can get in.

I'm not sending some rando' on a forum money through zelle(or PayPal F&F like the other guy wanted) unless I know you in person. Buyer/seller protection is the utmost importance with how shitty people can be over even $1. Glad you sold them though!

If there's holes and 90% of them are COVERED by the mount, one would not consider if there is exposure from the top or bottom, rather they are one and the same. I personally use vinyl to cover the remaining 10% that is nearly a perfect color match. You can't see it unless you're looking for it.
If you want 100% coverage, get something with a larger base.

Or spend 30 seconds to look me up and you’d see I’ve been here since 2020 and you’d also find numerous sales I’ve made with not one person having an issue. Or… ask to use PayPal. My wife has it and it would have been fine with me. Or…simply reply.

Dawg, time on the forum has no effect on my willingness to send randoms money, unprotected. I'm also not going to sit here and get lectured by some "2020 forum member" about how I need to ask for buyer protection options, when the only option you gave me was zelle. I'm sorry you feel a certain type of way, but you should hop off that high horse you rode in on.

Gl and get fucked.

So get fucked is your response. Creative. Next time just spend five seconds and say something like thanks but not interested. You know, communicate like a reasonable person would do. Not that difficult.

Dude just seems like a dick honestly. Guy is rude as fuck and seems to think his time and mental capacity is somehow so valuable that he has to talk down to people, instead of just answering an honest question like a decent person.
