Hi all,
I’m coding my 2024 GR Supra 3.0 (EU, 6-speed manual, HU_NBT_EVO ID6) with BimmerCode (full version, tried both the Supra and the Z4 profile).
What works:
Video in motion coded to active, then the hidden speedlock menu (hold the controller up, MEDIA, MENU, MEDIA) to deactivate the speedlock. With that, screen mirroring and video work at any speed.
SPEEDLOCK_SPEEDVALUE_MIN/MAX = 1F/3F in expert mode stays after a restart, but only up to ~63 km/h (3F is the max on NBT Evo).
The problem:
After every engine start, the speedlock is active again (picture off from ~5 km/h). Same with both keys, my driver profile and the guest profile. The dialog in the hidden menu itself says it is for test purposes only, not permanent.
BimmerCode support doesn’t know a parameter to make it permanent. BimmerTech says it needs “additional steps” they don’t disclose (paid remote coding).
Questions:
Does anyone with a manual Supra have video in motion working without a speed limit that survives an engine start? If so, how exactly (BimmerCode, E-Sys, USB file)?
Could anyone share a short video of their exact steps?
Thanks!
