Tire shop fumbled mounting one of my wheels and I'm left with the scratch in the image. It's pretty long but just on the edge. Matte black stock wheels. They offered to "refinish" the wheel but I'm not sure what that means or their ability to color/finish match stock. They did say it'd look mismatched being like-new vs all the others that have a few miles on them.

There a way to touch up a matte finish like this? Recommend a refinishing?

Refurbish most likely means, theyll sand it down to be flush and paint them or whatever the cheapest way to make them look as they were. If they can mess up a wheel mount and cause that much damage, they’re not gonna be super high quality.

Did you check your mileage? It honestly looks like someone took it for a spin and hit some curbs I always take a picture of my mileage before dropping my car off anywhere to get anything done. Mainly because everybody wants to drive one.
