Hey guys I was looking to install a strut bar in my engine bay and noticed the holes closest to the windshield look like they are not threaded.

does anyone have any experience installing one? Do I need to use a tap and die to make this work?
Thanks in advance

I know on the 3.0 the blitz installs with a bolt/nut combo. Bolt from the top. nut from underneath through the wheel well

You could either tap the holes or install it like @Davidr3 mentioned. The bolt/nut combo is how 2020s installed them since they didn’t come with the OEM strut bars.

Chasis is exactly the same. You can bolt up any of the struct bars available, including the factory ones. You can tap and die or you bolt from the bottom. You can reach the hole on the bottom with a long bolt without removing the wheel well liner or any other body panel.
