My 2021 had its front bumper cover ruined in transport, and while it was delayed by almost two extra months, Toyota did a killer job on the replacement, in regards to paint finish and fitment. It was worth the wait.

Yours should certainly not be totaled, because if it was, the VIN would disappear from Toyota's pipeline and show a blank build sheet on TiS. If your sales manager can reach out to the regional Toyota sales rep, they can do thorough inquiry on the status of the vehicle and relay the information back to you.

I’m hoping for the best. I know there are part issues with these cars. The dealers limited info sounds true and I have no reason to believe they would be dishonest with me. They’ve been great so far.

I was at our Lexus dealer with my wife’s car today. They could see the car in TiS. It sounds like that’s a good sign. Thanks for the TiS lead. I had no idea that system exists.

Experiencing my first real issues! A chassis malfunction popped up this morning but not an urgent one, said I can continue driving, it’s been pretty wet lately and lots of puddles so not sure if that’s related but not too worried. More worrisome is what I thought was just a random fluke has happened again. Under full throttle pull shifting from 2-3rd my 3rd is slipping badly, I mean will slip as long as I’m under power until I stop accelerating and then will smell of clutch for hours… this happened about a month and half ago and I just called it a fluke, but now a 2nd time under the same conditions has me worried. Especially since I’m still at stock power. Luckily I have a apt with the dealer anyway this week to replace some rattling speakers and to install my Cusco harness bar as the Oem one is rattled itself off basically. Will keep you guys updated!
