What is the best bang for the buck performance mod? I want to remain street legal as of now. I am located in Ontario, Canada! I have no problem with installing it on my own end because I have access to a shop. I don't want to go out and spend crazy money on an ETS turbo kit because I have heard bad things about it and it is not street legal. My main goal is to push around 500 whp. The car is completely stock except for a non resonated touring edition exhaust from awe which is coming in soon! Thanks for your help in advance!

Itā€™s insane how night and day different my car feels after the catless dp & bm3 ā€œstage 2ā€ OTS tune. Including the DME unlock it all cost about $1000. You can search on this forum & Google for the avg gains you get with that combo.

I also added some sugar onto the car like a full layer so itā€™s weird why it isnā€™t starting

For 500whp on a stock turbo you will need a downpipe, flex fuel kit and a custom e50 tune.

Isnt an exhaust better than a down pipe for performance? And I want to maintain legality and here in Ontario if you even breath in your car wrong your getting pulled over šŸ¤£

Which would be better a jb4 or bm3 for street use, Iā€™m looking for acceleration/torque

exhaust does nothing for performance, a downpipe on the other hand is very noticeable.

no, exhaust does nothing for these cars other than sound until your over 700whp

downpipe and a tune is always going to be best bang for buck even if you have to femto unlock it

an actual tune is always better. However if your ecu is locked then you have to send it to Finland and it will be a lot more expensive than a JB4.

even still i feel the extra $1000 is work the added safety and other features and speed limit removal than messing around with JB4. but thats just me.

My opinion is the JB+ using the "Turned up" value is best bang for the buck.

Next would be the JB4 piggyback tuner.
