My mind must be playing tricks on me, because I can't understand how these are both based off the prototype proportions. The first one looks short and stubby, while the second one looks much more sleek.

The angle makes a big differences, and mines has less of a wheel gap so that might make it appear slightly lower.

Big thanks to both @A70TTR & @Supra93. I don't mind the rendering. The lines are simple and clean. I think people need to remember that it is going to be a $50-$60k car and not a super or exotic car. I would even say it looks better than cars that cost 2 too 3 times as much as its reported price (GT-R & NSX).

Some cars I find I can't judge properly from renderings or photos, no matter how accurate they are. Take the new collapsible hardtop Miata - it looked very awkward to me from some angles in photos, but when I test drove it I thought it looked stunning.

All these little renders and pictures are all adding up pretty nicely now.
