New owner

I placed my order about 7 months ago and got it today. I am planning to install swift springs, wheels, and maybe a lip. I will probably take a pic when I get wheels, which will probably take several months. My previous car is a 370z. I had it for almost 12 years and it ran beautifully. I am a big fan of the r1, I've had 3 so far. After getting a bike I never thought I would care about cars. I am looking forward to going to a meet in the future.

The dealer sent me this pic. I was surprised how much better it looks in person. When I got home I spent a good minute trying to figure out how to put it in park, lol.

I feel the release button on the side and Park should be switched. Am I weird?

Button on the side is to shift into drive or reverse. Park is on top

It would be pretty awkward to shift into drive if the lock was up top. The side placement is wear your thumb would normally rest when you hold it.

Oh I know, I just feel it would be more natural to have that button where Park is and Park be on the side.

When the supra was unveiled I thought it looked great but was concerned with the reliability. I looked forward to the new z reveal and was disappointed by the exterior. The headlights aren't aggressive enough, the grill is too rectangular and too big, I don't like katana blade, I don't like the rear taillights. I guess seeing the new z made me buy the supra.

I definitely agree on most of that, i used to have a Z32 so i do like the rear end but the front kills it for me. I do like the interior alot more in the Z than the Supra tho
