Congratulations to our Mod in Japan partners at Ring Racing Germany / REVEL Motorsports Japan on their third podium victory at TT Circuit Assen in the Netherlands for the DTM Trophy series with their Twin Toyota Supra GT4 program. Originating from Boxberg, Germany, this team is really on the forefront of the Toyota Supra GT4 platform in a heavily European Manufacturer world and its amazing to see the Supra in action and topping the podium through this incredible
team.

Press Release DTM Trophy Assen:
Light and shadow for Ring Racing at the DTM Trophy guest play at TT Circuit Assen. At the third appearance abroad in the Netherlands, the boxberg team scored the third podium of the current season with number two from Nico Verdonck on Saturday. For Stephane Kox in the second Toyota GR Supra, the races were more than sobering after strong qualifications due to unbothered collisions.
′′ Rank two was the max we could reach. It was a tough fight but I ended up defending my position over distance ", Nico Verdonck is happy. ′′ That was the third podium result in four racing weekend, which underscores the good work the team does continuously. Now we're going highly motivated into the last two racing weekends."
Already in the free training, Verdonck left with ranks one and two no doubt that he is one of the top pilots. The Belgian achieved his best qualifying result of the season with second place in the first time training. From the start away he was under heavy pressure from KTM pilot Kofler, but managed to defend his position to the finish line, thus securing 18 important points for the championship. In the second race, after starting place four, he didn't get past position seven. With the two scores, the Toyota pilot is in the overall line after ten out of 14 races.
The race was less successful for local Stephane Kox. In the qualifying sessions, she demonstrated her skills and made the jump in the top 10 of the starting lineup for the first time. At the start, she managed to keep herself in the points on both Saturday and Sunday, but this performance remained unrewarded on both days. In the race, she was twice flipped by competitors after a few laps and had to fight back from the last position. In the end, only ranks 14 and 17 were available.
′′ Stephane showed her best season performance this weekend. She certainly could have fought for good points with her speed. Unfortunately, she was cleared twice by competitors and fell back to the end of the field. This is very sobering ", explains team leader Uwe Kleen. ′′ Nico has again demonstrated all the potential of the car with another podium success and I'm looking forward to the last two weekends of the DTM Trophy."
From October 1. to 3., the DTM Trophy will host eleven and twelve on the Hockenheimring with the season runs, already a week later the final will take place at the Norisring, the famous city course in Nuremberg.
