I run the GMG plate holder and fits the USA license plate perfectly inside the bumper opening.

It's really nice, solid quality, easy to install took 5 min just wish it fit standard Australian plates but it's a lot to ask haha

Had a busy morning :confused1: installed Rexpeed spoiler, pretty easy to do. Happy with the quality for the price

Installed interior trim pieces & red button, really like these. Definitely changes the interior feel and matches the factory CF nicely, the logo is a nice touch

Not super happy with the quality of the Rexpeed CF mirror caps, they aren't cut perfectly and don't line up perfectly and for $220 USD I expect perfection... Could have bought replacement CF caps for that much and may still do that if these bug me a lot

Also Drilled the front plate to centre it, was annoying me seeing only 1 screw...

IMG_20200916_131049.jpg

Put 2 small white screws into rear plate also, just aesthetically looked weird with no screws there... Only tiny ones and lined them up just cos

Considered sawing the screws and sticking the top part on but figured these plates aren't coming off for a long time so 2 little screw holes right at the top isn't going to cause too many issues

Have first 1000km service on Friday then the performance mods begin with MST Intake and FTP Charge Pipe

After a quick drive I can say the wind deflectors work perfectly, these are a must have for anyone with a Supra who drives over 60kph with their windows open

Another busy weekend, installed MST Intake, FTP Charge Pipe & Cusco Front Brace

PXL_20200922_063700481.jpg

Loving the engine bay aesthetics right now, wasn't sure how I'd feel about the blue and red together but I think it matches nicely. If the Brace was Red also it may have been too much. Front end feels really nice and tight now. Better handling and cornering.

Plenty of clearance between the intake box and the Brace too, the MST Intake sounds incredible. Heaps of suction noise and the blow off sound is nice and subtle too. Couldn't help myself and took first drive with the cover off!

Snapped the PCV Valve pipe off the engine block which apparently is a bit common. Just didn't realise it was hard plastic and not very flexible so didn't disconnect it from the intake pipe before trying to remove it, snapped clean off right at the end. Took the part off the block and super glued back together, put it back on gentle and hasn't come off since, 2 days so far, checking for leaks looks all good. Will order a replacement part though as not very expensive, will be a PITA to get to again though now everything is back together...

FTP Charge Pipe was an easy install, took about 10 minutes. Looks great, won't make any noise or power difference but great compared to the dented plastic stock pipe.

More mods coming, have to put the Cusco rear Brace on but may give that job to someone with a hoist.

Installed Verus Air Oil Separator, Fluid Caps & Washer Cap

Love how the AOS looks, definitely doesn't play nicely with the MST intake though. I had to make some small modifications to get them to fit together and couldn't get all the screws back onto the MST cover but it's ok

Fluid caps are nice, didn't realise that they were just covers and not the whole cap itself ahah

The washer fluid cap is an actual replacement part

Engine bay pretty much complete, just waiting for Verus Turbo Heat Shield to arrive

Managed to get access to a hoist today and knocked out the 2 mods that required/easier to do with Supra up off the ground.

Cusco rear power Brace, so easy to do with hoist and easy access to tools. Took about 15 min total and makes a HUGE difference, rear end feels totally tied together now and coupled with the front brace it feels like a totally different car.

OEM Brace is so light and flimsy compared to Cusco one

Also got the Verus Engineering rear diff cooling plate on, another quick job. Not sure I'll notice much difference day to day but it does get quite hot in Australian summer so it may be useful. Honestly I just love how it looks from the rear.

Also had OptiCoat ceramic protection put on today and full detail. Paint back to factory glass like feel

Few weeks ago I ordered spare front and rear tow hook covers from Speed Industry so I could drill them out for rear Cusco Tow Hook and front license plate mount.

Took about 30 Min all up, didn't manage to get them perfectly lined up for the set drill hole but came out ok.

I'll probably be the only one to notice the imperfections in person and it's a lesson in curbing my perfectionist issues by living with it haha

Overall I like the look compared with having that whole section missing from the front/rear bars

Weathertech boot mat liner arrived and installed, fit well except for the side part where the cargo net is. Anyone know how to get around that? Or do the US Spec not have the net there?

I don't have that net, I'm in a US spec car. The same area for me is just an empty nook
