No cutting, but there is an “optional” threaded hole around the top part. So you can loosen the side of the bumper and screw through the backside of the bumper so it will hold the spat tightly. I say optional because it will probably hold with the bottom hardware and the hardware in the wheel well, but it definitely helps tighten the gap. It’s not difficult at allWas there any cutting required for the rear spats?
