I just picked my 2021 Supra up last weekend. I have been having such a blast with this car. My last fast car was a 2006 Dodge Viper.

To me they look similar in design, large engine bay short rear end, two seats and bubble roof.
While the Viper had that pitch of a V10 and the 6 speed manual, This supra overall is just more fun to drive. I've read in many other forum posts about people comparing other cars to this and I am a HUGE Viper Fan boy. I hate to say it but everything from the handling to the general feel of the car, to me feels better in this Supra.

I'll always have a soft spot for Vipers but certainly will not be purchasing another one anytime soon. Just hoping some day in the next year or so someone cracks this ECU so I can add more power.

Have you checked the ECU for date? Maybe yours is one of the rare 2021’s that can be tuned.

Still learning the car,
Where can I see the ECU date?

I did some of my own research and found a video online.

My ECU is July 19, 2020. My Production date is October 2020. I was literally 1 month off!
Sooo close. I know piggybacks aren't fashionable anymore, but I'm pretty bullish (not using one myself quite yet) on JB4. For a long time, piggybacks were all we had. Might not get you all the bells and whistles, but it'll get us somewhere.

I knowww. So very close. That's fine. I think I'll do a intake and exhaust, get me a generic set of TE37's and hopefully by then maybe someone will have cracked the ecu. I ultimately just want to see 500 wheel.

You can make very close to 500 wheel with a JB4 using only a downpipe, intake on a 2021 from what I've seen. On e30-e50 ppl are making decent power on just the jb4 and those two mods, it really wakes the car up. You won't want to drive stock map anymore. And it doesn't ruin the cars cat like reflexes you just have more on tap and will have to watch throttle control.
Jb4 is worth it imo considering you can run ethanol and WMI as well... which is the route I'm going. You can even get a flex fuel kit to measure your ethanol level. 500whp is very realistic with the B58H right now!

I guess my concern with a downpipe would be throwing CELs. I hate seeing yellow lights on my dash.

Active autowerke downpipe is the best option. No cel, other brands aren't reliable with this claim

That's not really accurate on the downpipe. AA uses EPA approved GESI cats. Any brand that uses the same cat will give the same result.

Also wanted to mention that I picked up a Supra a month ago and my brother just picked up a 2000 GTS with 5k miles. So far he really likes it.

Wmi on the JB4 doesn't really do anything I'd you're already running an ethanol mix. I get the exact same dragy times with and without it.

Coming from a 2014 GTS, I can't agree more. Although the oil burning issues have me going through a little PTSD from the Viper rod bearing issues. The Viper handled like a car made by someone named Hank, and was clearly engineered and built by monkeys. It was a fun car but the Supra is better in nearly every way.
