Can someone give me the definitive firmware version number after the braking update and the carplay update? I am trying to see if the update was actually completed like the dealership said because I have NO carplay at all since they updated it and I am trying to confirm to see if perhaps it failed most of the way through and the tech thought it completed. I have read a few threads on here about the firmware update being very finnicky.
Easiest way to confirm is for me to check my firmware to someone who has it done.

Thank you!

Mine is in getting the recall done right now. I plan on pulling the iLEVEL version when I get it back to see what version they loaded. My current version is S18T-19-07-555. Will report.

Well, they had to keep my car for an extra day. Evidently, their computer systems needed to be updated with newer versions of software. Sigh

What did you use to check your firmware? I’ve been trying to use MHD but I must be missing something.

You can export your driver profile to a USB fob and read the version in the exported file (listed as istep version), or if you have BimmerCode, it tells you when you connect to your car.

There are a few threads on how to export the driver profile if you search.

Just got my car back. Everything seems fine. Fullscreen CarPlay and Navigation work fine. Have to recode all by Bimmercode goodies. Pulled my iLEVEL and it's now at S18T-21-11-530. So a pretty late version

Looks like they had a new version release between July and November. Recall target is S18T-21-7-519 or higher. I waited a good long time to get this done and got a later release but your version should absolutely have CarPlay and moreover, Fullscreen CarPlay
