Really considering unless Toyota does something crazy with the Supra GRMNIt looks a lot better in video than it did in those horrible pictures going around, I really think the baby blue one looks great.
I'm disappointed they've reduced its power to just 460HP. I wonder if it's the exact same S58 but just has a lesser support system, rendering it incapable of maintaining the higher power output in the M3/4. Maybe it has a weaker cooling system to save weight, making it a more trackable car or something.
Knowing the M2 was better in the track than the m3/4 in the previous gen gives me high expectation for this one too.
I also still think the previous M2 looks better.
Is anyone here thinking of picking it up?
Lower weightThey can’t make the m2 as much power as a m3/m4 bc of the price point. The car is more than capable at 450hp range.
the increased tq/hp makes up for the weightLower weight
Thats now an old car. Good luck taking the E90 near a new M2 lol. Time to adapt and allow tech to make things better.Weighs too much!
200 lbs over e90 m3
Probably because they know all the street races are in "Mexico" anyway.I’m not gunna lie they fact they chose to build their flagship trim car in Mexico is very surprising
Consider if you plan to increase power levels before making this choice. The headroom capacity on the S58 is lightyears greater than the B58. No contest the Supra is gorgeous. This definitely reaffirmed my decision to go with a 2023 supra over the new M2. The supra was already quicker than the outgoing M2 comp so I would expect it to be about the same performance wise as the new one, but with a nearly 500lb weight savings.
Even if I were planning on tuning, I wouldn't be able to stomach the looks of the m2 or m3/4.Consider if you plan to increase power levels before making this choice. The headroom capacity on the S58 is lightyears greater than the B58. No contest the Supra is gorgeous.
