I was between the AA and AWE as well. I chose the AA because I wanted to keep the valve so my neighbors don’t get mad when I have to get up early and I don’t attract so much attention from law enforcement, AA is very well known in the BMW world for quality, it isn’t as bulky so it doesn’t reduce ride height as much, and according to my mechanic it’s “10x” easier to align than AWE. Also helps that AA is within driving distance of me so once they finished making it I just picked it up and got it installed later that day.
thank you! May sound crazy, I don’t want to buy a full exhaust and then be disappointed with it not being loud enough! I also don’t want it to drone on the highway. On my previous car I had the AWE track and loved it, except the drone. Swapped to the touring and absolutely loved it. Do you have any clips of the exhaust? Ever wish it was louder or deeper sounding? Appreciate the help!

He’s got a few other videos up of it too but it sounds way better in person. There’s a lot of depth to the sound that can only be heard in person. It’s plenty deep without masking the howl of the i6 at higher rpm’s when you’re getting on it.

Already did the legwork on this exact choice. Figured I might save him some trouble with what I found worked for me.

Thanks!!! Yes that is my car and video as he stated. I absolutely love it. Everyone compliments me on the exhaust. Even those not into cars. I was going between awe, this and armytrix. I chose aa for their reputation and I wanted 100% 0issues with it lining up with the AA downpipe. Do not regret my choice at all. I've heard lots others in person, they all have said they wish they had went with the AA.

Gotta say, I'm pretty impressed with that.

Still so torn between the AWE touring and this AA setup. Even been listening to M cars with the AA setup. Appreciate all the info and feedback!

Only drone is low rpm in high gears. Which I never drive in comfort so I don't ever really notice it. Went on several trips and was slight drone but never bothered me or my girl.

I was torn between aa and awe track. The AA is amazing I think. I don't regret it at all

I have had a ton of aftermarket exhausts so maybe I'm used to it. I had a Z that was a bit loud in the cabin.

Did you disable the active sound?

I'm wondering if the drive will be less since I'm running the MT versus the auto ?

I love AWE exhausts. Had them on the last 2 cars (including my current daily). One track one touring. I'm sure I could get away with the track since the supra isn't a daily, but I like having a valved exhaust

AA only makes valved I believe for the Supra? And yes I disabled cabin exhaust noise
