Out or interest, in the US would that get you a ticket if you were caught driving at night?Took off work a little early and installed this headlight duct
Some places, probably - others not a chanceOut or interest, in the US would that get you a ticket if you were caught driving at night?
an inspiration to all of us weekend warriorsAA downpipe install. Not a mechanic by any stretch and spent $200 on the jack and stands, but going DIY! Already did the catback and intake! I work slow and carefully but am about ready to pull the stock unit out!![]()
the car is 100% on the jackstands! Jack is just there and locked, isn’t holding any weight. Did need mini ramps to sneak the jack under there enough.
Did cold start reduction work well? Much quieter at startup? Was done on Thursday but got the downpipe slapped on and made her a little more spicy ?. Also, did the cold start noise reduction cause I care about my neighbors lol.

Did an oil change today and looked into the Oil Filter Housing and noticed one of the clips was missing in the housing. Probably broke off from previous oil changes. Anyway looked everything over put the new filter and oil and reset oil on the computer. Did a test drive car runs perfect. Will order a new oil filter housing from Toyota. So everyone when DIY oil change check your oil filter housing.
So - Getting ready to do my first oil change. Does having the car on an incline reduce the amount of old oil you drain out of the pan, etc.?? It would make it much easier if did not have to lift all four corners of the vehicle.......![]()

Yes, it’s better to have the car level. Not terrible if you don’t, just better if you do.So - Getting ready to do my first oil change. Best would be level. You can change the oil like me or get a lift. The most important thing is changing the oil and more often than less ?So - Getting ready to do my first oil change. I'm pretty sure we just became best friends based on this thread...Bro this is literally the goal with mine too, even got the mkiv font for Supra on the back and removed the GR ? i ordered the exhaust direct from the Samson performance website, requested no burns on the titanium but you can customize that. Very deep and 2jz like along with AA catted downpipe. I am looking at removing the loud cold start thru tuning also, want to be mindful of neighbors!
I have some wheel cribs and can get it up enough to get under it but it will be a hassle - like the thought of the lifts i've seen on the forum here but not sure if I want to invest at the moment.....Best would be level. That’s what you call a dedicated track car. I can’t think of anywhere you can drive w/out lights in the US. My S2K didn’t have lights either but I did have a detachable light bar for night track events.Out or interest, in the US would that get you a ticket if you were caught driving at night?
