Hi folks,

Got some nasty chips near the front wheel section (photos attached) - if you zoom you can see a couple of them went down to bare metal :"( only have 1800 miles on it...

I purchased a kit and a primer as well from a company called "PaintNuts" uk, £14 for the pen and £8 for the primer plus £7 for express shipping.

I thought I would document here the before and after and the company/quality of product, hoping it can help others uk based if they decided to do this sort of thing.

My paint code is 0D06 I believe (Nitro/Lightning yellow depending which side of the pond you are...)

I'll reply on this thread once I get time to do it properly.

u need to get XPEL on the high impact areas of the car or else this will just keep repeating itself. Paint on these cars is thin!!! I don't have a chip in 6k plus miles of driving thanks to my "track package" xpel

Thanks, I did get a full front end ceramic infused PPF done (Suntek Reaction Pro self healing) including headlights, but I didn't do the fenders and indeed I regret it now, I didn't realize it would be this bad.

I either get the mud flaps, or PPF the fenders (even though they're already chipped) it would still reduce future wear as you said.

Mud flaps will help 90% of the debris that gets kicked up i would just PPF it personally and the whole rocker and never worry about it again

ThankQ - really looking forward to your feedback on the paint Kit.
I’m UK based and have a few very minor chips on my front nose and rear arch of my car which really annoys me …. I’m a tad disappointed on how weak the paint seems on these cars (mine’s metallic grey). My car Currently has 5800 miles and is a 2022 model
I’ve had 6 Audi’s on the trot prior to this and there’s a world of difference in the paint quality between the 2 brands

The ZL1 rock guards are inexpensive, work great, and honestly look like they came on the car imo

Ignore the absolute disgraceful amount of dirt

$64. Those are freedom dollars. No idea how much it would be to get them to the UK

My kit arrived early, good start. The little pen/bottle is very sturdy and feels quality.

I’m also importing a “front” set of Rock Guards from ZL1 Addons for £31 + £24 shipping to the UK as these are a must have with simple fitting… shipping is a bit pricey for a couple of bits of plastic but hey ho that’s life ?

I can't remember where I got mine but paid around £70 for them, I just did a quick Google and nemesis have them, I used them before for my mustang they're based out of bromsgrove

https://nemesisuk.com/products/zl1-...-guards-for-toyota-supra-mk5-2019-21-03340804

I think they have a 10% discount code for mustang6g forum if you do a Google, I think it's just the name of the forum...
Cheers mate - any guesses why it says "out of stock" when you select '2022+'? Weird, did they change the design of the inner wheel arch from 2022 Supras? ?
