What did you do to your Supra today?

Finally gathered the courage to drill into the bodywork and I am so happy with the outcome! I went with the MB Wing and paint-matched the top side and left the underside as exposed carbon fibre. Being from South Africa, hardly anyone has parts for the Supra as it is a rare car here. Will be installing paint-matched M-style mirror caps soon. Super keen to get the cosmetics going on this beast!

Can you iron your clothes on top of that??

Put in the Verus heat shield on Saturday, lost one M8x1.25 25mm to the abyss. Recovered today in the drive way.

For those doing the install, place a towel at the bottom of the engine bay in case you drop one. Take em' one at a time. Get them threaded so they're both in there well enough but the shield still has some flex.

Install the second part of the shield, then crank em' down. On the second shield, I recommend starting with the bolts lower down. Get em' threaded so they stick, then keep on movin.

In case anyone needs a spare, Lowes should have a few.

Found that the tires were spinning on the wheels at this power level, purchased / mounted / balanced some new wheels from Weld to fix that issue.

You're never going to get the weave to line up in a repair.

If looks really good for a repair. Hell, it looks better than my splotch job where I coated a thick layer of resin from Michael's on it
