I was actually told the opposite yesterday - they said they may do one "at some point in the future," but there generally wasn't enough demand for it to justify the cost. I don't know if more cars with wider hoods (like the Supra) will help them justify the cost and actually get something into the market, but we'll see...

Here are some progress shots of the XPEL stealth being applied.

Looking very nice! I can’t wait to see the finished product. Once the hood is all done and the ceramic coating has been applied would you mind posting close-ups of the seam on the hood? I’m interested to see if it’ll even be noticeable on the white.

Here are the hood done and the seams are noticeable so we are putting racing stripes to mask it.

Damn that looks good. Do I want to know how much it cost?

I guess you can see it when you're right up on it, but from the zoomed out picture I wasn't able to notice it at all. Some of my friends were saying that they like the glossy look more but I definitely am a fan of the matte.

In terms of pricing, I'm having this done (on a nocturnal black Supra) and the cost of everything (Xpel Stealth + Xpel Fusion Plus Ceramic Coating + XR Plus window tint) for the entire car was $7,700.

You have to see the matte in person to appreciate the define lines on the supra. It makes it look more muscular.

Yeah, I feel like a lot of its "curviness" gets hidden with the glossy paint (especially for darker colors like black), so I'm hoping that the matte will help make it "pop" more. I'm surprised how much of a difference it even makes on the white. I'm excited to see what your call will look like once it's all wrapped / coated up.

Also, just in case anyone is interested in terms of the breakdown, it was $6,000 for the Xpel Stealth (the matte PPF), $1,200 for the Xpel Fusion Plus (the ceramic coating), and $500 for the Xpel XR Plus (the window tint). Not sure how that compares to what you ended up paying, RRKnight. (did you have this done in Canada or in NY like you did with the camera install? I know there are some pretty well-known PPF shops up here in NY that start at around $10,000 for this sort of thing; I'm actually having mine done by a shop in NC.)

I'm getting it done in Canada but can't share the price as I got a discount for being the first test pilot for them. The camera were done in Canada too at north york.

Ah... I guess I saw North York and somehow read it as New York. Either way, that camera work was really nicely done! I think I'm going to have a couple of the 2 channel Blackvues installed (like this) and refer whatever shop I end up using for that to the video of your car and ask them to route the wiring in a similar way. Hopefully they're able to do as clean of a job. But first I need the window tint to go on...

I was quoted $4500 for Xpel Ultimate Plus everywhere but the hood and Suntek (I think Ultimate?) on the hood due to the size issue as mentioned elsewhere in the thread. $450 for ceramic tinting the windows. The car is white.

Debating on if I really want to spend that much.

I just got my car done yesterday. 1550 for film on the bumper, quarter panel, sideskirt, door vent, and behind the rear wheel and a 3M crystalline tint.

Are you all getting the Xpel on the headlights as well? Just curious, pros? cons?
