Windows look good I’m not too crazy about the tint on the reflectors though. I guess if you have black it would look ok. I’m planning on getting nitro yellow so not sure how that would look.

Thanks for doing this. While I tinted my Downshift Blue I am opting to go in another direction for the reflectors. I appreciate your effort and showing me what the tint option would look like.

Why not paint the reflectors? This is a common mod on BMWs, so common that companies offer pre-painted parts to swap in. I've never done it (they are below my threshold of stuff to fiddle with) but tons of other people do.

I’m sure there’s a blue vinyl that’s close to the blue you could use to wrap the reflectors

I ordered a new set to do just that. If these reflectors are like other BMW products they break when you remove them because of the strong adhesive they use, so start with a new set and have the numbers sanded off and make it very smooth before painting.

1). Use heat gun to warm the adhesive around the reflector.

2). Remove reflector

3). Replace with self-adhering reflector in your color of choice

Have any reflectors that would fit the front & back of the Supra been release yet in the aftermarket? I was considering blacking mine out (given that my car is black) but that white on that BMW actually looks pretty nice and is giving me second thoughts...

Nothing out specific to the Supra yet, that I know of. I would think that they are likely a common size though.

I forget the actual color of the reflectors, but I swapped out those and the turn signal lights on the fender, I haven’t had that car for about 6 years or so, but Imo, the reflector/turn signal mod, was about the cheapest best looking upgrade I have done.

So much better than orange and yellow.

Keep in mind that with tint as opposed to paint they still maintain some reflectivity and are more likely to pass inspections etc.

You may be one of the few sane people doing a proper break-in. Many folks do burnouts as they leave the dealership, head to a dyno, head to a track, and then trounce on the car like it's 1999.
