Has anyone thought about installing something like this:

I wonder if they would look decent? Seems a heck of a lot cheaper than the TRD parts... and much easier to acquire.

I would stay away from these generic wing/spoilers because they will require alot of modification to make it work. Then all that work and money put towards it won't even look right. It will stick out like a sore thumb. I'll look for a wing that is built for the A90.

Most of the original supra wings were aftermarket "generic" addons... Also, I don't think they require alot of mods... Basically just measure and bolt on.

I think he's just trying to get the point across that the angle of the sheet metal where it would bolt to the hatch may not be exactly flat and if there isn't any support under the sheet metal the downforce can leave an indention around the base where it attaches. It really does need to be fitted for the car or you will be unhappy with the fitment and have 8 new holes drilled in the hatch.

The old supra doesn't have as much curves as the A90. Also there is a specific mounting point on the trunk built for a wing and these generic wings won't work.
