You know, this may be a case where not having a outside trunk pop button will work in my favor. Since there isn't one I'll have to pull the remote out of my bag to pop the trunk and therefore it should be in my hand.....unless I go to the door and pop the trunk from the drivers door.
ok, tested...
I need to experiment with this at home while I have my second set of keys handy. I can't tell you how many times I've finished a round of golf, thrown my golf clubs in the trunk and proceeded to close the trunk......with my car keys in my golf bag!! Luckily on my previous cas the trunk re-pops...
Welcome and nice Vette. Are you sure you want black; especially in the Great White North? It's gonna get beat up every winter with all the junk on the roads. I swore off black after owning two of them. They do look sinister though.
I'd do the c clamp method. Should be quick, non permamnet , stable and non marring.
I'd assume the aluminum surface isn't smooth enough for a suction cup to work for any length if time. Might have to stick a smooth circular sticker on the bar to act as a nice smooth surface to help the suction...
Thanks guys. At a mnimum I'll be getting a black cable to replace the white one and route this to the glove box. the white cable just screams Apple , and thieves are gonna go after it. I'd love to see a thieves face if they stole my 12 year old Ipod
Hmm, was just thinking it would be nice if there was a USB in the glove box so you could just throw it in there. Then thought, eh, I can try to route the cable from the center console into the glove box via some seams in the dash and throw the Ipod in the glove box. Hmm, could work fine if I can...
Ok, so I have my music library on an old Ipod I keep hooked up to the radio via a cable to the center console. Where are you all keeping these so they're out of the way and ideally not visible to thieves. I've tried the net in the passenger floor which works but is totally obvious what's there...
loved your racing video series. They were partly responsible for me buying a Supra I’d say. Looked like you were having such a blast and the car looked so capable ....sans grip!
Also, love your attitude and positivity. Keep it up sir, that will get you far in life!
This bugged the hell out of me when I first got the car. I don’t like the way BMW does this “idle state” stuff in the car.
Anyway, after I toggled my setting in I drive to turn off car after door opening it’s all good. Now my dash cam shuts off as soon as I get out and shut the door. Although I...
I'm gonna call the concierge today. I just got my car last week and the only track day near me happens april 10th. Doesn't give me much time to break in the car and get registered. Hopefully I can get in the Limerock track day, otherwise the other two closest are NJ and Watkins Glenn which are...
Hmmm, ordered mine 7 days ago and am still waiting on them. It's getting warm here so I'm geting anxious to get these...........updates?? I ordered the regular ones, not painted.
Just got my car last week. I’m not really sure if there’s time for me to register with NASA in the short time left to get in on Limerock. Also, I figure I’d need pads and fluid too before 4/10.... right? Anyone care to chime in. Also, would have to rack up 800 miles or so in the next few weeks...
There's always the next best thing right around the corner. if you don't act you'll always be standing on the sidelines missing out on all the good stuff that's already out there. I'm totally happy with the car as it stands and as I said; used the news of the new car to improve my bargaining...
They do fit as bruins71 showed. i actually took my clubs to the dealership and threw them in the hatch to make sure. Ha! People were casting weird glances at me walking across the dealership parking lot with my golf bag in hand. It is a bit awkward to get them in since you have to put them in...
Hi all. i will be picking up my Tungsten tomorrow. I just thought I'd drop in to give some prospective buyers some info./ammo. I got a premium with the DAP and some other small options for 51.5K that had a MSRP of 56.2K. That price does not include taxes or doc. fee.
I think that the sales...
Exactly, totally agree with your last sentence.. i was looking at the GT350 too and the random mechanical issues discouraged me from pursuing further. Picking up my Supra tomorrow.
Funny, I test drove a M2C, Camaro ss 1LE and the Supra because my last car I just got into didn't excite me like I...
