The only issues I've had only came from either someone messing up or from changing out the front lower control arms while lowered. The latter only required very minor alteration.
This fruit that you want to squeeze has no juice in it.
Trading it in for a 3.0 would be a cheaper and faster solution.
This is sort of like how people back in the day bought a 3000GT SL and wanted to convert it over to be mechanically identical to the VR4... even now that isn't worth it.
These guys are right down the street from me. Hell, the mechanic I'm working with has been working with them. He's pretty legendary in the GR Supra drag racing community.
Never thought that the Triangle area in NC would have such sought after talent for this car.
I really wanted to keep the...
I wish 19" Meister S1P3s would fit over my brakes :(
I wouldn't get them now since my SSRs are similar in design. I am looking for a second set of wheels though... since I MIGHT be doing a widebody ?
Perfect. The trunk lifts automatically after lifting it a bit. 130 to 140 ish lbs of force might be best for some. I have a spoiler on there too. So I wanted to make sure it worked.
I am going to make a video as soon as I get my car back to show the difference.
There aren't any bolts for these. You just snap off some clips and they slide out. Probably the easiest thing I've done on this car so far. If you're fast you can probably change them out in under 2 minutes if you prop the trunk or have someone hold it.
I think my car is done in the aesthetic department. I may go wide body down the road, but not sure. Once I'm done with the performance side, I'm moving on to something else more than likely.
I'll be getting the new EOS mod for their older Intake manifold. It will be an adapter that utilizes a Kia Stinger Oil Filter. Now I will be able to freely change my oil like a normal person lol.
Toyota dealerships around here hate this car. I caught on to that very quickly. Especially when you call the service department to schedule maintenance.
The only time I go to the dealership now is to pick up parts that I've ordered to do my own work.
Edit: Not from the same country, but I have...
I think it's the way the headlight is shaped and the angle of the picture that is giving it the affect that the front of the car sticks further out from the front wheel.
For those with big ass wings on their trunks. I found some stronger trunk lift supports with almost the same length as OEM. These are rated at 152 lbs of force while OEM is rated at 77. These also have a quick release mechanism built in.
Lift Supports Depot...
This is getting unveiled tomorrow right? It's definitely a new platform. Nothing in any of the Mazda, Toyota, or Lexus line (other than the EV Sport model) even comes close to matching that silhouette. The only thing that even comes to mind that on the market right now with a bonnet that long is...
With the amount of torque I'm aiming for, I would not have peace of mind with a manual. If I had unlimited funds for rebuilds, then maybe.
I really enjoy rowing through gears with a third pedal. The level of engagement is very soothing for my brain. But I also enjoy mindlessly slapping my...
This could be something from the Mazda Toyota Manufacturing venture. Maybe it's a shared platform for the A100 and the RX-Vision (or whatever it ends up being called) with Mazda's new inline 6.
The silhouette doesn't match up with the Supra or Lexus Sport EV lines. Could this be a preview of the A100? It could be like the March 2018 reveal of the GR Supra Racing Concept which was revealed before the A90 prototype was officially announced in July of that year.
Hopefully this isn't a...
You know what... This build actually looks better on video than in pictures. I just don't know how to take pictures of my car I guess. Here it looks more.... meaty.
Well... now that I have forgone the PPF it should only take about 3 or 4 days. Then I'm yanking out the ECU.
Car is going in next week for paint correction and a lifetime ceramic coating on the body. The windows + wheels + interior will be hit up as well.
Leaving this up to a shop, because I suck at applying any sort of chemical/paint/coating.
ECU will be coming out after the protection work is done...
