The video states that it hasn’t been approved for emissions on the 2020 yet, but to stay tuned. So… it will, they just haven’t gotten the green light to sell it for the 2020 yet.
One is ~$2500 and good width and offset. One is $13000, and the same width and offset as the stock wheels. I fully support people shitting all over these wheels.
And no, they do not look as good as the ts5 - they are not very concave, which is what makes the ts5 look so good.
'Gazoo Racing' might sound fairly silly, but they have a much cooler origin story than TRD. The real problem is that Toyota are inconsistent in their branding. You have TRD Offroad/TRD Pro trucks, GR cars, and F cars in the Lexus lineup. I think they would present a much more consistent message...
Zero chance of that. If people couldn't handle all of that low-end torque, we'd be seeing Mustangs crashing while leaving Cars & Coffee all the time! :dunno:
Yeah, I guess the 'lowest common denominator' always applies. I wonder if the ricer crowd is going to be buying the base model and...
On the flip-side, if you're not going for numbers, this graph looks like a car that would feel excellent on the street. That torque turns into a table at 2500RPM, and while it drops off quick, that's some serious response.
Of course, the Supra manages this with more headroom up top, somehow...
Well, I don't think the Yaris Cross is coming to the US, nor are any other GR Sport vehicles (for now) so that's just fine. It'll just be the GR86, GR Supra, and GR Corolla. :)
Amazingly, I think Toyota realizes that Americans aren't at all familiar with Gazoo Racing, so they're going slowly to...
Agreed! Is it an easy install, I wonder? The STI was insanely easy. Pop out the back seat, unscrew the access panel, and boom, you have direct access to pull the fuel pump out of the top of the gas tank.
"The body roll in the corners in this Yaris Cross GR Sport makes it feel SO EXCITING! Like you're really DRIVING the vehicle. The Z, which corners much flatter, feels like it's taking too much control away from the driver."
You can be as upset as you want about it, but the sales of the 4 billion stupid things like this are what give them the money to engineer the stuff WE want to buy. If not for things like the X5M, and the 330i M Sport, we wouldn't have gems like the M2 Competition.
If it helps keep the lights on...
AFTER the car is built? Not sure why individual would take longer to be shipped after the build is completed. From allocation to delivery, definitely. Not much different than it’s ever been, in that regard.
Toyota Southeast Distributors is taking those pics at port, when they come off of the ship. I guess it's part of what the dealers get, as they are required to get all of their inventory from them.
If you look around, you'll see that all of the cars coming in have pics that look just like this...
