I feel like GR in the States isn’t established well enough to already start diluting the brand. Like, make it mean something first if you plan on making GR stickers a selling point.

Well, I don't think the Yaris Cross is coming to the US, nor are any other GR Sport vehicles (for now) so that's just fine. It'll just be the GR86, GR Supra, and GR Corolla.

Amazingly, I think Toyota realizes that Americans aren't at all familiar with Gazoo Racing, so they're going slowly to build familiarity before they bomb us with badges. GR is old hat in Europe and Australia.

If you pronounce it Ga zoo like the green alien, then yeah it's stupid.
But it's supposed to be pronounced Gazoh as in 画像 or image in Nihongo.. so sounds just as dumb in America.

I mean image racing sounds like you're image training before a race or recital.. ? who the hell came up with the name.
