They can ask whatever they want, but I dont think anyone is dumb enough to pay that kind of premium. Give it a month or 2 and that price will go down drastically
Lining up the rears were a little annoying for me too. Just ended up using a jack to lift the rotor and a pry bar to line up the 2nd hole, which made the first hole much easier to get the bolt through.
I've got a BMW M4 in BSM / Fiona Red interior on order from my brothers dealership. Still not 100% sure i'm going to take it, but with a 6 month wait, I have plenty of time to decide. I drove one for 20-30 miles and I absolutely loved the car. It's definitely heavier than the F80 and feels that...
Theres a BMW 335i that frequents my area quite a lot and I swear his burbles last for a good 15 seconds. Not even exaggerating. He alone is making me hate them :nono:
My closing is a week from friday. So that leaves me a few weekends to get settled in. It's had to of been pre-pandemic last time I even went to a car show. I used to frequent all of them back in my Subaru STI days.
I love the sound. Maybe it's just me growing up, but when I had the AWE exhaust, some of the loud prolonged burbles made me a bit embarrassed. This is especially true when a red light hits and im hitting the brakes quickly. Going 10mph and hearing all sorts of pops and bangs out there can be a...
Looking forward to seeing what you install next. The build is just next level already.
As for the moving part, wife and I are leaving the city and moving to the south burbs. Hopefully I'll finally be able to make my way up north to some of the cars and coffee shows this summer.
Started following you on IG a few days ago.
I've said it somewhere here already, but love the build. Usually not a fan of big track wings like this, but I feel like it fits your car nicely. Also a fan of the new wheels I saw you post on their
Agreed. It looks like it adds some much needed thickness to the wheel. For ~$50, it could be worth it to just try and see how it feels/looks in person. Might be a purchase I make soon before ultimately deciding if I want a new wheel or not.
I've purchased 2 new Supras, each from a different dealership. Both times the salesman had me download Supra connect to, well connect, to my car.
Neither time it worked. But after a few weeks each time, it started working after putting in the VIN. Not sure if it requires a few weeks to...
The one I drove was a RWD version and manual and was a blast to drive.
If I were to personally buy one right now, I'd got with an M3 comp Xdrive. The AWD would be great here in Chicago and the automatic would give the wife a chance to drive it as well.
I had a G82 on order before I just purchased the Supra. What was initially supposed to be a 3 month wait turned into a 10 month wait and I didn't want to be without a car for that long.
I could definitely see myself in an M3/M4 after the Supra. Having driven a G82 for 40-50 miles, I will say...
It came on my car despite me not asking for it. Its not bad, better than nothing. But if you want real protection, theres a reason people pull it off and get a legit PPF installed.
As for the yellowing, i've heard of it happening on other cars, but haven't seen it yet on a Supra.
