Lining up the rears were a little annoying for me too. Just ended up using a jack to lift the rotor and a pry bar to line up the 2nd hole, which made the first hole much easier to get the bolt through.

Agreed. It looks like it adds some much needed thickness to the wheel. For ~$50, it could be worth it to just try and see how it feels/looks in person. Might be a purchase I make soon before ultimately deciding if I want a new wheel or not.

The one I drove was a RWD version and manual and was a blast to drive. If I were to personally buy one right now, I'd got with an M3 comp Xdrive. The AWD would be great here in Chicago and the automatic would give the wife a chance to drive it as well.

It came on my car despite me not asking for it. Its not bad, better than nothing. But if you want real protection, theres a reason people pull it off and get a legit PPF installed. As for the yellowing, i've heard of it happening on other cars, but haven't seen it yet on a Supra.
