My only gripe with the stock Brembos is they weigh an extra 30+lbs on the front end than a 2.0 front brake system therefore down the line I would rather buy a P2uned($2500) red BBK that weighs the same as a 2.0 base brakes. I refuse to add weight to my car. I already dropped 24lbs from lighter...

JB4 gives the 2.0 up to 40whp/70-80wtq with 93 octane and about 30whp/50-60wtq on the 91 octane. You would be fine with a JB4 only but I got me a high flow filter and a catback exhaust system will yield some more torque.

So now we have proven facts thanks to the guy above I decided to go find the cooler in my engine bay. The 2.0 and 3.0 has both engine oil and trans fluid cooler. Also I found a BMW article that said the B48 is identical inside with a forged crank and conrods but both motors have strong cast...

I realized the trans cooler is in the middle but what is the purpose of the heat exchanger in either the left or right intake vents?

You do know the 2.0 have a oil cooler right? I think the 3.0 has both an engine and transmission oil cooler
