You should be able to hit the 500 with just a downpipe and E30-50 blend or good 93 gas but that also depend on the dyno your on. I wouldn't try to get the 550 personally because the DI would be too maxed out at that point and that could cause it to lean out at the top end in some cases. At that...
Same as any auto Supra pushing 500whp. Downpipe and a bit of meth cuz E85 isn't easy to find in Puerto Rico. He might have an intake too but that's just mostly for the sweet turbo noises.
Thought it'd be worth sharing this here. I have a buddy with an A91-MT that recently got tuned on BM3 pushing 500WHP and 610Ft-lb. He is still on stock clutch without any issues so far. Looks like the OEM clutch should be able to handle quite a bit of power so hopefully this becomes the tendency...
Did my install of the Raceseng knob with collar and I will definitely be buying the red Nitro with the dimples after returning this one that was used for testing purposes. I did cut a bit higher than
Prado150, 3/4" from the base of the OEM knob in my case. I do not have any tugging but I would...
I'm planning on reaching out to Sweidit to do my custom boot.
I've also been making some progress in replicating the shape of the bracket for the shift boot. Hopefully the one getting printed now makes the bottom right corner fit as it should so that I can move on to making the bracket itself.
I might have to cut the boot where you did. Picture is a bit crappy but the adapter for the Raceseng knobs would have the boot sitting about 1 inch higher than it does on the OEM knob. Luckily the collar is a bit wide so even if there had to be a small gap between it and the boot it shouldn't be...
Mine feels like the ebrake stays stuck for longer than it should to the point that it holds the car back when taking off on an incline. You can even hear when the brakes let go. I never used the hill assist on my brz and that had crap torque so I don’t really care for it in the supra specially...
If you don’t mind getting rid of the underbody brace, the remnant turbo back is a hella great price point and takes away all the restrictions. I’m going custom route 4” to dual 3” with an interchangeable dp (high flow gesi cat/ straight) with dual resonators after the Y and dual mufflers yet...
Usually in the front toe in is not advised. If swapping left/right tires doesn’t fix it I would consider a neutral toe. Going a bit toe out will make it more sensitive to steering wheel input so you might not like that alternative.
Anyone know how to turn off the hill assist? ? I’ve never been a fan of it and on the Supra I feel it sticks too much. I’ve been looking all over the infotainment menus but haven’t found where to get rid of it.
I reached out to a friend who has a premium to see if he would do it but haven't heard back. Might be a bit hesitant to do it thinking something might break ?
That was the first thing I looked into but it does not appear to be the same shape unfortunately. Even from the shift boot bracket models I was able to find online none match so I will probably have to end up replicating it myself so that I can 3D print it.
Many BMW shifters and boots are one piece unfortunately. I'm gonna be getting a collar too so my end result should be something similar to this when reusing the OEM boot. The idea is that Racseng will be able to offer something that customers can adapt by reusing the OEM boot. There seems to be...
Yeah it's all one piece with the boot being stapled and glued around the plastic bezel that clips in place. The staples barely stick out so whenever I replace the boot it should be relatively easy. I can't even get a hit when searching with the PN's on the sticker so if anyone knows how to get a...
