To OP, just for reference. If you are looking for an exhaust that doesnt include the downpipe, that will just be your standard catback or axelback exhaust.
Any exhaust system that includes the downpipe is called a turboback or headerback exhaust.
That being said one of the users on here has a...
i also just installed the extenders. I got them supercheap on Black Friday and i also figured i'd see how they are before dropping 400$ on full replacements. So far i really enjoy how much easier it is to shift in all hand placements
Both but the super sport is my choice. Good to know what mine will sound like as i ordered a Super Sport and i plan on getting a downpipe in the future.
Yeah i totally get that. Compared to the BRZ the Supra definitely has worse visibility. Its funny cuz i find the Supra and the S2k have the same amount of crappy visibility so i didnt really notice it when i got the car.
I'm surprised you think that. The Supra actually has a shorter wheelbase than the BRZ by about 4'"which is considerable. Have you ever driven an S2000? Both cars are setup very similarly. Long front with a short back. I find that the Supra has almost as good turn in as my S2000 while having...
yeah honestly just dont enter or exit straight on and you should be fine. This car on stock suspension will clear parking stops no problem. You shouldnt have an issue
Wow nice upgrade. The Boxster Spyder is the one with the Flat 6 right? Same that comes in the GT4?
Did you go with a MT? I had heard that you could get it with the PDK but i wasnt sure if that was out yet. Heard the gearing in the MT, is too long and you tend to never go above 3rd gear...
I'm of the same mindset. 388hp (even rated at the crank) is more than enough for me. Especially living in the SF Bay Area. Where am i going to go that will allow me to utilize more than even 250hp unless its at the race track. I cant even imagine having something above 500hp. I'd never get...
So i can confirm that either our cars do not have this so called Cold Start protection OR if we do that its completely temperature specific. I went out this morning to my car, its a chilly 57 degrees (i hate anything under 80 degrees) its been sitting since Sunday, started her up and...
Honestly a used 2020 is a great option. Unlike the 2021+, the 2020's can be tuned via ECUtek which is a solid tuning hardware. As for right now i believe we are waiting for tuners to hit the next breakthrough which will allow them to tune our locked ECU's. So if you are big into the Mod...
As many have said here there is a bit more of a difference than just it being a different engine.
Off the top of my head some of the differences are
- no LSD
- 18' Wheels
- no adaptive suspension
- no brembo brakes
You also have to realize that the 2.0 will handle differently than the...
picked mine up last Sunday before Thanksgiving. I cant stop staring at this car. Everytime i go down to the garage for anything my girlfriend comments that it always seems to take me like 10 minutes even to throw out the trash. Its really cuz i just stand and stare at the car lol.
I'm a big fan of AMMONYC products. Their soap is the best imo and you can feel the quality in the suds. However you must keep the product in a controlled tempurature environment. If it gets too cold it ruins the product so you must keep it inside.
Other than that i use their soap, and then...
Well the complaint really kinda stops after 2nd gear. The biggest thing you'll notice is that if you want to go fast and shift in a high RPM in the M2C, is that you'll get a lot of clunky shakes when trying to shift fast. Shifting slow is the only way to make it smooth but you lose a lot of...
The M2C has a stiffer and harsher ride for sure. I had been dailying an S2000 up till that point basically except for 3 months in a 230i so for me i kind of ignored it. Made me really appreciate how comfy the Supra is though.
Yeah for me i went with the M2C because it had the MT, and boy did i regret it. I didnt think it would be so bad. The 1-2 shift was literally the worst.
