I did say FK8 specifically, FN2 I have no experience with, but I can assure you the FK8 MT is overhyped, I thoroughly did think the FK8 was better until I drove them back to back. I even had the updated 2020 shifter, still not as nice as the Supras IMO.
As someone who went from an FK8 to a MT Supra, I can assure you the Manual is not better in the fk8, it is different but it's got a ton of slack/play and I have come to love the notchyness of the supra manual more.. especially after driving them back to back
I guess that is the issue, the 3.5" full might not be necessary... just feels silly to me I guess to have the aftermarket downpipe being a bottleneck in the full exhaust system lol!
I have been looking tirelessly for a downpipe with a 3.5" outlet, it seems most just mate up to the OEM 3.15" exhaust and aren't created to make use of a full 3.5" aftermarket exhaust.
Has anyone found a full 3.5" throughput downpipe? Considering we pay good money for a full 3.5" CBE it...
Hey!! Thanks for the input, I do want to go to femto so that's not off the table what so ever, but I guess my concern was more around what's the point of a NO CEL DP vs any other catless dp if the manual trans supras are going to suffer either way.. my concern at this point would be a 3.5" DP so...
Also, question here for my fellow MT owners, does the catless no CEL really matter? Our cars supposedly run like shit catless without a tune, so I am wondering if any brand will work at that point? (Provided its 3.5" throughout to match my rk ti)
