Not the exact same scenario, but I got a CEL for the fuel system in my old '20, filled it, reseated the gas cap, had the dealer look at it, etc, nothin. Then it rando cleared itself the week after and never came back *shrug*
Hopefully it's just one of those.
I think we had the opposite experience! To me at least, the '23 MT feels like an improved version of the 20' in every way (missing adaptive cruise control & transmission discussion aside); I assume most of that is the general tweaking that the 23' got though (plus the power bump).
I miss the...
Yeah it's a crap shoot & you'll probably only know when it's coming when it has already arrived ;)
Mine came pretty quickly (6 months to take delivery, knew they had it coming about 4-5 months) because of the Toyota "ordering" system, which looks a bit like this:
and because I had something...
Well, they suck for handing out penalties after the race again... Also, what is this "reset" are we back in Abu Dhabi making up rules?
But, as has been pointed out in other places, it's funny how they can skim the wall on a street circuit by less than a cm but can't stay in the lines on a track.
Found another tow hook behind my passengers seat. This is the 2nd tow hook I've located in my '23 (first was under the passengers seat) and the 2nd tow hook I've located behind the passenger seat in a MK5 ('20 had the same thing).
So, if you have a weird sound sometimes on sharp turns or hills...
Reasons for going to 23MT:
Minor reasons:
- Acceleration at slow speeds just felt wierd in the 20. I assume the Tq converter was just doing it's thing, but it it just felt like you moved too slow for the first 5-10kph. If you matted it it moved just fine tho.
- None sequential shifts.
- Every x...
I feel for ya; I think allocation at dealers is just a random affair on the Toyota end. I got the first MT at my dealer and I only put money down in December...
You need to just be viewing F1 as a team sport; drivers get the stardom and most of the credit, but it's a team game first and foremost - which is why drivers constantly thank the team after races, they know who butters their bread.
I can't claim to have watch F1 since I was in the womb like...
Yeah I've only used it on a Ferry a couple of times for tilt. The manual doesn't make any mention of a shock sensor for what it's worth.
Looks like the manual says that the alarm isn't armed if you use the the physical key...
