At least the e-brake looks a software issue with a pretty easy logic fix. The clutches still seem all over the place though - not that you should have to go this route, but at least there is a aftermarket clutch available now.
I've been offered the same thing because they want my trade-in; the dealer told me that it's not a cancellation, it's just an allocation they got that matches what I want that they were not expecting but will be here in May.
But I dunno, you know how dealers are ;)
My dealer just called and said that they have an extra allocation due in early May - same colour etc. that I'm after; If I trade my '20 with them, the car is mine if I want it... Lucky for me because I only ordered in December...
So I attributed more to Newey than I should have - misread the article.
Anyway, rumour-mill ish, but there are two users over on the F1Technical forum who reported that
both RB's had a software problem with the gearbox and had to have their power unit turned down:
Both forum members seem like...
Newey is reported to have said that in Bahrain, both RB's had a technical problem & so the drivers were lifting and coasting for practically the entire race - and they still ended up what, 27 and 39 seconds in front of the the Aston?
They certainly have S tier car design/setup.
CV1 owners represent! Had to switch to an old set of wireless headphones as the right earphone died (fixed it), and then the left headphone died. In a bit of a limbo now because I don't know if I want keep the tether or not & I'm not feeling the current products that are out there. I'd like eye...
So, unmodified, those adapters will stick out from the face of the wheel.
You have 2 obstacles here:
1 - The adapter won't fit on the hub - you need to machine or sand the inside of the ring out by a few mm to get it to fit over the hub.
2 - Once you can get past the hub, you hit the hub...
Nope. I don't remember exactly how it turned out, but I removed material from the adapters to get them to fit over the hub, but it still didn't work.
Sold the wheels now.
