Try forgetting the phone connection in the car settings and re do it. I had to do that to get mine to work again. I noticed that if my phone is connected to a wifi connection and I jump into the car with it connected it trips out the carplay -YMMV

I have a 2021 with 3200 trouble free miles. Its my daily and gets driven 7 days a week. Don't worry about the internet keyboard experts.

Any luck getting yours to work? They just shipped my unit today. I had to email them about not receiving the replacement.

Hopefully you get yours to work. But I wouldn't get your hopes up. I ran into the same issues and tried another unit with the same results. By chance what is your build date? I am a 9/20 build date.

Ok - Terry at BMS thinks its a hardware issue with newer Supras. Once again my build date is 9/20. Is their anyone with a similar build date using a JB+ and not running into check engine lights?

Checked this one before the install and this one was set at 3:00. I am going to keep it at this setting due to Cali gas being 91 Octane. 30 minutes is up and hopefully the new unit works.

100% agree on the 370Z being cheap and plastic. That was my biggest grip about my 370z. It just felt cheap. For example, the window buttons and the window button housing felt like something someone made in a 3D printer. People that think the Supra has a lot of road noise should ride in a 370z...

Just got to work and will test the replacement JB+. Parked the car, popped the hood and locked the doors. Going to wait 30 minutes before the install. I will post the results ASAP.

i don’t know how much that’s going to work. The rust looks likes the it is under the paint and is making the paint peel. Maybe iron/steel contamination got onto the trunk deck before it was sprayed at the factory? Definitely Toyota needs to fix this for you.

Yes mine does it too and its very annoying. I noticed that the problem usually occurs if I am connected to a Internet Wifi connection and get into the car.
