At what hp did your tranny start slipping. It’s my understanding that 650 torque the tranny will start slipping and pretty much on the edge of destruction.
How does the Vivid perform? Hopefully in the next 6 months I’ll have my bottom mount and port injection installed so I’ll need to replace the stock exhaust.
My ecutek Supra is just shy of the c8 z06 on the track and a roll and half the price. I think they are ugly and not near what they are fetching for them. A hybrid turbo will smoke a stock 8zo6. Thanks but no thanks. The engines blowing on them is real. I know of two that have grenaded. Ill...
I absolutely hate this expression but it is soooo true. "Buy once! Cry once!" If you have to save up and it takes a little longer then do it. Do it right the first time and be done. Lots of top and bottom mounts with high quality turbos that should last a long time if done properly. Thats...
I’ve got to go back and reread this. Something’s not right. Stock turbos are putting out 500hp and 600 torque. I think I would ask for new injectors and retune. Hell they might even be mismatched. Hell who know….
I get a popping or clicking sound from time to time but it’s only when I’m moving slow. Backing out of parking spots or pulling into them. I’ll have to check it out next time I can get it on a lift.
The drone is huge for me. I travel a lot with my car. Basically replaced my RoadGlide with this car so I like taking trips in it. Hopefully I’ll have my turbo and port injection installed in the next 6 or so months so I know exhaust will be next. I’m catless with the factory exhaust but I’m...
I would love to see a comparison of different exhaust and dyno numbers. Naturally your going to live some number if your wanting to go quieter the a super high flowing loud exhaust. Definitely something to think about when making an exhaust choice. I know I am.
I’ve gotten quite fond of the burbles. I’m still on the stock exhaust but going to have to switch to hen I upgrade my turbo. I hate drone so I’m considering the touring for quiet on comfort and bark on sport.
