ahh! Well that makes sense then. I’ve heard some horror stories with them. Definitely didn’t wanna spend 1k+ on tuning then be left up creek without a paddle. I went with Payn for tuning ?️

right! And then I messaged marshal from Visconti just asking if there is anywhere I should start looking for issues and all he could say was look at the install guide or install error. No help at all and kinda condescending tbh. But it’s all good I figured it out on my own. ?

The connector I had an issue with connects the harness from the kit to the zeitronix box, it must be a newer style. Because in their install guide and other pictures online it doesn’t have that connector there.

I disassembled the connector and re did it all and pulled on it and made sure it was locked in good

Do you have any red with black lettering left and how much?

Yep I just pushed it back in enough and checked the log and it’s reading now thankfully lol

May have found the issue this pin is pushed back and it’s the yellow and black wire.

I talked to another forum member who had a similar issue and swapped out a friends zeitronix box with his and it fixed his issue. But Visconti says they have never seen a box fail in the 10 years they have been selling them.

To be honest I’m not sure how to do all that, I assume you have to have the eca connected to a computer?

Oh I gotcha. It was blinking. So I’m gonna investigate the can bus wiring connections. All the wires are the way the install guide shows though.

how do I test that? I have a multimeter, but my knowledge of electrical testing is limited. ?

There is no E85 in the tank but all fuels have like 10% ethanol so it should pick that up. Also tuner informed me it’s not reading ethanol

It says 65535 which is no communication with the ethanol box. Unless I have a bad connector or something I’m not sure why it wouldn’t have a signal.

It is blinking when in diagnostic mode.
