Ya that for sure is the issue. Pop the orange piece out, push the pin back up, put orange thing back in and call it a day.
Yep I just pushed it back in enough and checked the log and it’s reading now thankfully lol

Make sure it's repinned properly. It needs to push through and 'click.' Last think you want is that coming undone during a pull or a pass.

I disassembled the connector and re did it all and pulled on it and made sure it was locked in good

There's no reason to look. That's not how DTM pins sit.
I wish the car used just dtm in that style connector. They are used heavily on cat equipment and can take water cannons at full flow and pressure without letting water get onto the pins and sockets.

The connector I had an issue with connects the harness from the kit to the zeitronix box, it must be a newer style. Because in their install guide and other pictures online it doesn’t have that connector there.

Yeah I don't recognize that piece either from when I installed mine last year. Cool that they improve the kit, but they don't update their documentation so it causes confusion. When I did mine they changed a fitting they used so I was looking for something that didn't exist.

right! And then I messaged marshal from Visconti just asking if there is anywhere I should start looking for issues and all he could say was look at the install guide or install error. No help at all and kinda condescending tbh. But it’s all good I figured it out on my own. ?

I heard Marshall and Visconti are not on good terms…. I’m not gonna stir the pot but I certainly will be taking my business elsewhere I was pretty much given the “sit on it and swirl” mantra…. Which makes me violently angry so instead of snapping I’ll be mature and find a more reliable tuner

ahh! Well that makes sense then. I’ve heard some horror stories with them. Definitely didn’t wanna spend 1k+ on tuning then be left up creek without a paddle. I went with Payn for tuning ?️

You're correct. If CAN Input Status is reading 65535, there's no signal to can. You can test the connectors with toning them out with any volt meter.
Do you know what a Zeitronix CAN input status of “1” means by any chance?

Edit: according to this page it’s “sensor fault”, cool cool cool…

Anyone know if it's normal for 65535 to show on the can input status if you haven't flashed to a flex fuel map yet? Currently on a 93 OTS and wanted verify everything is working as it should.
