This process has always worked for me

Bring the engine up to temp, measure the oil level, then with the car off and seatbelt on go through the steps.
Do you have wider tires and spacers or wheels with a more aggressive offset vs stock? With 295s on the stock wheels it rubs with any spacers installed, even 5mm.

Reflectors are paint-matched from IND. The color is perfect, I think there’s just some odd shadowing in the pic that makes them look a little off.
A lot of times these kinds of orders are non-cancellable. Maybe they can just hold the manifold for you until you’ve completed your move and can give them an updated address.
You don’t need any adapters, just place the quickjack blocks under the jack points directly. With the 1.5” low profile blocks my car (lowered ~1” on HKS adjustables) has about 0.5” clearance. With the stock medium blocks I had clearance in the rear but the front was tight. If you’re lowered...
If the tires are hot and/or it’s hot outside (80+ F) then they’ll grab in 3rd and higher. If it’s 60 F or cooler then 3rd is squirrelly and they won’t really grab until 4th. 1st and 2nd are basically useless regardless.
If I did a big burnout first then they’d probably grab in 3rd at 60 F or...
I don’t have the Banks gauge, but I do leave my Ecutek Bluetooth adapter plugged in 24/7, and it never has any issues coming up. One thing it does do though is about 10 min after starting up the car, if I’m streaming data from the ecutek adapter (either actively logging or just watching the...
Oof. When your ethanol sensor is on the fritz with a flex fuel tune, the last thing you should be doing is a bunch of WOT pulls. You need to get the sensor sorted before you blow up the engine.
June 2020. Look at the vehicle build date on the door jam. If it’s June 2020 or before, you’re good. If it’s ~October 2020 or later it’s almost certainly locked. Between those you’ll need to lift up the ECU itself and look at the sticker on it.
It’s really a non-issue. I ran full E85 in my STi for 11 years, often letting it sit for months, never had any problems. Many people let their cars sit with E85 in the tank, I’ve never heard of anyone having a problem. There are millions of flex fuel cars on the road running on E85, if this...
Lithium batteries age with time, the amount they age depends heavily on temperature and charge level. If you’re not using the battery and it’s just sitting on a shelf, your best bet is to charge it to around 50% capacity and leave it somewhere cool. Maybe check on it once a month or so and...
Looks nice. I already have a Zeitronix flex fuel sensor tapped into those CAN lines in the passenger footwell though, anyone know if you could just splice this into the same lines?
