There's a difference between "made in China" and "made of Chineseum". With good direction and oversight, products made in China can be perfectly fine. From what I understand, Megan Racing products do not fit into that category.
Why would the Tacoma be more practical for a daily? That doesn’t make any sense to me. Having it around for when you need it sure, but basically nobody needs a truck for a daily. It would make far more sense for the Supra to be the daily, and the Tacoma for that one time every few...
I'm not sure why you're asking a bunch of randos on the internet, lol
I don't like trucks. I don't like looking at them, I don't like riding in them, I hate driving them, they waste a ton of gas and don't fit anywhere. So yes, definitely burn it to the ground and replace it with something...
Load != RPM. What you just described lets the engine run through its RPM range, but does nothing for varying loads. Load is throttle/boost, meaning heavy throttle and engine braking. You can't give the engine varying loads while staying out of the throttle, those are mutually exclusive.
Helped my friend out with his build this weekend, 2JZ swapped FRS. Test fitting the engine in the bay today. Still a long while from being ready of course, just checking clearances for now. Ultimate goal is 1000 whp.
I’m not a B58 expert, so I’m just spitballing here. You’ll only get knock when near TDC during the compression/combustion cycles, so by looking at when you hear knock, combined with the relative strength on the two sensors, it shouldn’t be difficult to identify the source.
There’s only one rear sensor, it’s on the driver’s side. You only need it if yours is broken though, they might have just reinstalled it with the arm flipped the wrong way.
Visconti sells a metal ride height sensor bracket if they broke yours

Unless you've switched to studs it's pretty helpful, the spacer just becomes part of the hub and you never have to worry about it. Future Classic spacers are that way.
Just throwing the Falken Azenis RT660s into the mix as well, they're probably somewhere in between the Continentals and Nittos, they grab very well and you can get them in 265/35 and 295/35 for the stock wheels.
Looks decent
Is this a full replacement oil cap? I have the Verus right now, it's just a cover that snaps onto the OEM cap and the diameter is a little too big, it makes pulling the engine cover on/off annoying since it gets stuck on the oil cap. The HKS looks small enough that it must be a...
A little late, but I’m running 265/35 and 295/35 RT660s on the stock rims. A 5mm spacer in the rear caused it to rub a bit on the fender liner so I run the rears with no spacer. I was able to run up to 12mm on the front without any rubbing, but it made the fronts poke out from the fender too...
There are basically two situations when you need in the trunk:
1) Park somewhere, get out of the car, go to the trunk to grab something before locking the car and walking off.
2) Walk up to your locked car, go to the trunk to put something in, then get in and drive off.
The current state of...
