As @BMWAF said, you have to go one screen up from the one you want to save, use the scroll wheel to highlight the entry for what you want, then hold the button to save it. I have CarPlay on #1, tire pressure/temp on #7, and sport display (which is boost and ethanol content on my ecutek tune) on...
Typically the ECU’s build date is 2-3 months before the car’s build date, so I’d say it’s very unlikely that a 3/21 car would have a pre-6/20 ECU.
Yeah that’s what I’m worried about, if I leave my creeper unattended and don’t put a wrench or something behind one of the wheels it’ll definitely roll itself out into the street
Yep. I was replacing the rotors anyway since the MX72s trashed them at my last track day, so I figured I’d throw the ducts on while I was in there. Install takes like 10 min if you already have the rotors off.
Swapped pads and rotors and installed brake ducts
Just an FYI for anyone out there who might try, don’t take MX72s to the track, lol. Switching to PMU Club Racers, hopefully they hold up a bit better.
I’ve always owned manuals since I was 16 (39 now). Literally never owned an auto trans vehicle of any kind before the Supra, the only ones I’ve driven have been family cars and rentals. I hated all of them and vowed I would never own an auto. If there had been an MT Supra in 2021 I wouldn’t...
Yes the stock TCU tune in normal mode races to 8th as fast as it can. I've never noticed it being jerky, but it does bog the shit out of the engine. The XHP trans flash lets you change the shift points in normal mode so it waits to go into 8th until a higher speed and stops bogging though.
You get a lot of adjustment range with the rear camber. I’m not sure how far the stock cam bolt can push it, but my car lowered about 1” was at -1 deg with the rear camber locked to min, and -4.5 deg with the rear camber locked to max using the SPL camber lockout bolts. If we assume the stock...
The supra gets a ton of attention in Colorado. Very few people trying to race it though, mostly they just want to wave, take pictures, talk about their own project cars, etc.
Unless I'm mistaken, that's post-turbo, pre-intercooler. Mine hits nearly 400F there, I can't imagine the pre-turbo intake temps being anywhere near that high unless driving through an active volcano.
A 20-120 mph pull with the stock intake manifold will heat the IATs up WAY more than 8 F. Unless maybe this is the pre-turbo intake temp? I've never logged that so I'm not sure what its behavior is.
When fully warmed up and driving calmly (IE: not during or immediately after a WOT pull), our IATs typically sit about 20-30F warmer than ambient. So those temps would only make sense if your car hadn't warmed up yet or it was <50F outside.
