I would not recommend the MX72 for track use based on my experience. I had the regular version, not the plus, but initial bite was never great, they faded fast, and they ended up destroying my rotors by the end of the day.
Cusco’s rear sway install doc is good, it has all the steps you need to take to drop the subframe and the part numbers for the single use bolts you need to replace. I also posted some tips earlier in this thread from when I did my install end of last year which you should be able to find in a...
Assuming it’s not completely dry and you’re adding 11 gallons total, 3 gallons of E85 + 8 gallons of E10 is exactly E30. If his “E85” is closer to E60-70 then it would be lower, but that’s a big assumption.
All things being equal (same boost/timing) the car will make less power on ethanol than...
It’s not, if anything it probably makes less power.
Debatable. I sure as hell wouldn’t feel comfortable running E30 on a stock tune and relying on the slow, long-term fuel trims to try to fix things for me, but you do you I guess. Either way this has nothing to do with OP’s question.
Change the tire settings to other in the menu. Same thing happened on my car when I switched from the stock tires to RT660s. Changing the tire settings not only fixed it, the TC now behaves even better than it did on the stock setup.
In my experience, he’s a good tuner with an attitude. His responses to questions are often short, to the point, and have a bit of an edge to them that can definitely rub people the wrong way. But he gets the job done well and quickly.
Endless MX72 brake pads - they don’t grab well on the street, they start to fade very quickly when they get warm, and when I took them to the track they faded hard after the first ~2 laps and ended up destroying my rotors by the end of the day.
