Yeah, I've been waiting since early May and I'm definitely ready, so I can only imagine what it feels like having placed your order way before that. Definitely ready.
My bad - I should have clarified. I was basing my point on the trajectory of the Toreader, and my initial thought that my car would have been on that ship. I believe it was stopping in TX, CA, and then final stop was WA. So in my head, I was thinking that if dealers more towards the east coast...
As of a few days ago, my dealer only told me it is set to arrive at port on 8/30. With you guys recently learning that your timelines were a little off, I'm wondering if they don't have the most accurate info.
My question still remains - if there are ships making port at multiple US sites, it seems like it would be easier to let cars off at earlier ports closer to final destinations than to carry that whole fleet of cars to Washington state first. I'll be the first to admit that I don't know much...
I'm curious as to whether the ships are traveling quicker as well, Danny. Seems like A91s, if already stuck at port, are ahead of anticipated schedule given the limited info we have been given.
I'm right there with you man. Placed my original order in May. Obviously expected some kind of delay with COVID, but the inner kid in me is getting anxious
I wonder if this means some cars will get off the ship at the different points. Doesn't make much sense to me that they would ship cars from the far west coast back to the east coast when they could just let them off the ship earlier/closer to final destination.
What information did you need to do this search? Would love to search mine as well. The dealer couldn't give me a ton of info, but seemed strange for an east coast vehicle to be on the west coast boat.
Found a dealer who had an allocated Refraction Blue that had not been reserved with a deposit! Placed my deposit today!! Supposed to be hitting the coast on 8/30ish.
