Found a dealer who had an allocated Refraction Blue that had not been reserved with a deposit! Placed my deposit today!! Supposed to be hitting the coast on 8/30ish.

well done how many dealers did you have to hit up before you found this one? Did they give you MSRP?

I checked with 5-6 dealers in all. Was able to get MSRP.

That was the temporary prebuild vin. Your car has a different one now. No need to cover it up lol.

I'm looking for an A91, only one dealership nearby has one in the NYC area, a 3.0 premium nocturnal colored floor model at Bayridge Toyota. Most dealerships have 2020s stocked and are doing 3k manufacturer discounts and 3k dealer discounts off MSRP which is tempting as well.

I ordered mine on Friday with a local dealership here in San Antonio. I put down a deposit and they told me there will be no mark up as they didn't mark up the LE from last year.

They told me they haven't been given their allocation yet and had no information on ordering the A91. Weird that some here went to dealerships with information and some, like mine, haven't received any information yet.

Anyway, I was the first to ask about it so I get first dibs on the A91 when it comes in and I specifically asked for Refraction.

After a bunch of Googling I think I found the vessel carrying my car. She left Bremerhaven on July 31st, quick stop in Southampton, now she's off to Baltimore, and then finally to Newark to arrive August 16th. So with a bit of luck, I'll have my car before the month is out!

I Googled which port BMW ships cars from, I knew the departure date, Googled which shipping companies BMW uses, found one ship that left that port, that date, going to Newark.

Oh awesome. borrowing from your work some, the west coast ship may be called Toreador; it left a couple days later and makes a couple stops in TX, CA, WA. Am just guessing based on the timing/route though.

Add me to the list of allocations for the A91 Supra in Refraction Blue as I finally secured mine today. I might be the only one in Orlando FL with an allocation for one at the moment.
