Mops, buckets, pressure washers and good old hand-cleaning...oh yeah and a mini Zamboni lol. Practically, cleaning is non-stop throughout the day, and floors are all scrubbed at end of day. When the shop is clean (most) customers tend to clean up after themselves, with some even wiping down...
Moved from my house to a condo...needed a place to work on my cars. After looking to buy an industrial bay and fit it out, started a DIY biz instead with 10 bays (including detail and dry ice), pro-grade tools, meeting/board room and office. About 8,000 square feet total. lugnutz.ca
Bays 1-6...
At about 12,000km... fuel economy is worse than OP at around 14.5 MPG in the city. I drive it only in manual mode, shift and run it at high RPM. You know...like a sports car lol. Our 992 C4 gets about the same fuel economy in the city, and both are perfectly normal and acceptable to me. On the...
lol...I also had a Mk1 MR2 (1987) that I ran a couple of winters...although I put full snow tires on it. Zero issues. My AP2 S2000 with Blizzaks on it was one of the most capable and fun winter cars I've owned, even taking it on a 2500 km February winter trek through Montana, Washington state...
Well, we're about halfway through winter, and here we have seen multiple full-on snow storms, roads as icy and treacherous as they ever get, temperatures down to -36 Celsius. The Supra is fine in winter...as stable and capable as any other RWD sports car I've had. FWIW, My 992 C4 bottoms out and...
I have been driving my Supra daily here in Alberta, with temperatures the last week down well into the -30s C and a heap of snowfall. I have had none of the issues the OP is experiencing.
LMAO at posters who think the Supra should be tucked away in a garage over the winter like it's some sort...
I'm willing to bet that the older the owner, generally the LESS the pops and bands are "appreciated." I'm 66, and drive the ever-loving bejeezus out of my Supra and 992. I HATE the banging and burbles...from my perspective it's the worst thing about the Supra, hands down. (It also undermines my...
Sound system is hugely underwhelming
No heated steering wheel
Butt ugly two-tone wheels
The low-rent "leather" on the Premium seats
HUD is useless with polarized sunglasses (it's a gimmick anyway, so turned off on day 1)
The absolutely most annoying, disappointing, infuriating thing about the...
Put the Pilot Alpin5 winters on today...just in time for the snow forecasted for here on Friday and Saturday. The Alpin5s feel a bit heavier in terms of steering feel than the stocks Pilot Super Sport summers, but not in any way "squishy" like other winter tires (even performance winters) I've...
My Michelin Pilot Alpin 5 winter boots for the Supra arrived today, and I'll mount them sometime in the next couple of weeks. I will be driving my Supra throughout the winter, and even with the Alpins being 255/35/19 up front and 275/35/19 at the rear I have ZERO concerns about the car being too...
Late to this thread, but here goes. We currently have a 2020 992 C4 I bought new (now has 40,000 km, 37,500 or so put on by me) and a 2022 Supra 3.0.
The Supra was bought to serve as my wife's DD commuter car; about 8 km each way to/from her work. In pretty short order, she found the rear end a...
2023 Supra 6-speed <IS> the backup plan. I bought my '22 Supra 3.0 in July because I haven't been able to get an allocation for a Porsche 718 GTS with 6-speed. If I get the GTS I will likely sell my 992 C4 and keep the '22 Supra. If I can't get the GTS, I'll keep the 911 and trade the '22 3.0 to...
No pops or bangs in a '23 would ALMOST be reason enough to trade my '22...I have the exhaust flap permanently open but have all settings in Sport except Engine to minimize the off-throttle BANGS! I get that many people like them, but it would be smart of manufacturers to offer a way to...
The Z has a "stunning exterior"? I must need new glasses; it looks boxy, boring, unresolved and uninspired to my eyes. Sure, Supra has a love-it or hate-it look but it is 10x more interesting than the Z.
Would never use Shell 91 non-ethanol when I have the option of Chevron 94 non-ethanol where I live. The alternative go-to fuel in my 992 C4 is PetroCanda 94 with <10% ethanol and would fall back to that for the Supra if Chevron 94 isn't available.
