Lol. I do agree with you. There are many more important things to be sad about with this car. This just adds to the long list of things toyota shouldāve couldāve done right with the car.
BMW didnāt even give toyota the latest steering switch gear. Those on the Supraās steering wheel are the last generation of BMW steering controls. Sad.
Something silly thing called aerodynamics. Hence the entire grill opening is not used. Look it up.. there are subtle difference in that opening even between a GT350 and GT350R. All based on a specific requirement. Nothing fake on even a mustang ecoboost.
Agreed Jeff. With all the stuff that has gone into this car why not make them work and have a proper car that looks and works. Calty really dropped the ball if they wanted fake vents.
What I donāt get is.. why design a vent if it aināt functional? I understand that on cheap cars. But if Toyota wants to spin this as its flagship.. why fake vents????
Even a ecoboost mustang doesnāt have fake vents. Come on toyota wtf
Ok.. I just saw that Lexus coupe pic.. spill the beans A70. Give us a hint at least damn it. That looks sexy AF.
BTW, I successfully replaced my Lexus IS with a Lexus GX yesterday and Iām super happy. Now Iāve owned pretty much every model Lexus has ever made including the dreaded ES250.
But isnāt that really just a concept? Wasnāt it just a design exhibition for that car more than a lap time?
Not sure beating that is of any substance for a car that is near production.
All I know is.. A70 hinted... you guys wanted a 2JZ.. followed by a Face with all 32 showing. That must mean something..
So.. I really doubt a standard issue B58 to be on the top trim MKV. Maybe in lower trims for the peasants.. but for the enthusiast there will be a better option.
On point about the weight of a vehicle out of the box. Driving/owning a NB Miata made me realize the beauty of balance.
Donāt kill me for this but.. while I totally get the balance aspect of the FRS, I sincerely think a 20% power bump would do wonders to that car.
