I would say yes to the battery reset as it’s part of the normal process where I don’t 100% know what the smart charging does. I mean, for all I know it takes into account the battery age where it charges differently over the battery life time.

I know of one person that was running lowered with 305 20 and he had rubbing issues. I have no idea how lowered his car was or lowering kit he was using. I’m sure some others on here will be able to provide more detailed info!

I had no issues with mine so can’t really help.. Only thing I can think of is do you have the port 5 connector the right way around? (I seem to remember it’s the opposite way around to what you might think)

I would go with the MHD flex fuel and also buy their unlocker module. I used one to unlock mine which was very simple to do. Also, if I was to ever take it to Toyota and they did an ecu update which locks it again I have the unlocker sat in a drawer at home.

In my case, I definitely wouldn’t notice the difference as I have terrible hearing! Maybe this is telling you it’s time for a hearing test? :p
