4.5 inches. It doesn't reduce until the flex fitting.
From AA's website:
"This variant includes a 4.5" high flow GESI catalytic converter that will NOT produce a CEL! GESI has stamped N/GBL/4389/1119 on these cats as required by the EPA. The number represents the following: N (New) GBL: GESI’s...
When I looked on Autotrader 2 weeks ago, I found a total of 4 available for sale in the entire country. So not sure how many have been sold, but it's safe to say that we're definitely a limited production color car. :-)
Yeah. The shop did an outstanding job on the car. Pics of where the seams are on the rear hatch. I had the camera 3 inches from the car to capture them. Take 1 step back and they're gone.
There's a bit of water on the car in the first pic on the right side of the seam in case anyone asks. :-)
It's installed and the car sounds great with it. Deeper tone, no drone at all. Really the only real difference you notice is when you put your foot in it or when driving around in sport mode.
The pops and burbles are also louder which is just what I was going for. I have the fake engine noise...
The trunk lid was done in 2 pieces. Like you said, there's too much stretch. They did a super clean job though. Unless you know where to look, you can't really see and even then take 1 step back and it disappears
This little gem just arrived today. Will see about getting it installed sometime this upcoming week. The packaging, welds and machine work are excellent.
They say it's guaranteed to not throw a CEL, so I guess I'll find out soon enough. With this weighing just under 8.5 lbs, I imagine...
I agree. I prefer the bigger engine. More torque and more responsive. But some people (due to finances or not caring about power) will happily embrace the 2.0L. It's good to have options.
So 2.0L buyers get pretty much the same look and probably better fuel economy for 15k less. I don't see that as a big deal.
Keep in mind that there's a subset of enthusiasts who care more about how the car looks than all out horsepower. I don't think that Toyota offering a 4 cylinder version...
Couple of reasons.
For starters, without a tune designed to take advantage of it, you won’t see much of a performance gain. More importantly, I’d be highly surprised if the stock high pressure fuel pump and injectors have the headroom to satisfy the volume requirements of running full E85 under...
The shop is confident that it’ll come out good so I guess we’ll see. Just want to be able to drive the car with less concern for rick chips.
It’ll also be much easier to keep clean since I won’t have to be as careful as far cleaning products used.
