Trying to fit the rears in the front to check the clearance for square track setup.
Looks like it will rub on compression at track with current camber settings. SPL arms will solve that.
This side has the square 19x10 with 18mm spacer in rear and 13mm in the front.
And the other side has the...
I know that going from 3in outlet to 3.5in had significant impact on a tune that it had to be revised since the car was making more boost. Going 4in could be better but I have yet to see any dyno runs to prove that.
It would have some gains in this case, since the catback connection to the downpipe is different. 4in downpipe outlet will have noticeable gain over stock size outlet.
Thanks!
Currently I am only focusing on tire, suspension, and brake upgrades only.
Next up is C2/CP CSG pads then SPL front lower control arm (to be able to increase front camber) then RE71s on stock staggered wheels then I will install a rear stock wheels in the front for square RE71s. I am...
Took the car to track yesterday. This time I installed the H&R springs with 18 mm spacers all around. Re-aligned the Supra after the ride height drop as it gained more camber.
It was interesting to see how it will affect the feeling on track compared to the stock setup from last track day back...
Great build Jordan!!
Really exited for this thread. What kind of power where you making stock vs now?
Did you send some logs to the tuner after the new mods on track? Curious to see if the tune had to be modfied further.
These are the door vents. They are functional but not useful in my opinion since they do the opposite of releasing pressure there. Also they are not directing any air to the diff cooler or the rear brakes.
Here is more opened vents.
I used the H&R springs for about 400 miles now. No issues with stock electronic suspension so far. Ride height is perfect, just enough to clear speed bumps and drive throughs. In comfort mode its actually not that stiff and you can daily the car no problem. I still have to track the car and see...
