3555 miles. Had the A91 since October. I'm at the dealership right now for low oil. It's going to stay in the shop for a while. The tech hear said that he knows about the issue and was waiting for a car with this issue to make its way in so that he could take a thorough look at it.
And...
Got my RS*R Best*i Active Coilovers a while back as well. Thanks again to @Meraki Autoworks . This is going to be one long wait for those wheels to get in.
My R1 brakes came in today. I worked with James and he was able to get me a great price and answered my questions without issue. He also gave me status updates as well.
I was surprised to see that the rear calipers are actually a smaller 6 piston as well. I was told that they would be 4. But it...
I'm grabbing a Seibon TS2 hood and the body shop I'm working with said since it's got a dual latch system that hood pins aren't necessary and would be more of aesthetic choice for this car.
I'm asking Footwork/WedsSport about their TPMS adapter.

Edit: I think for me this won't work because the Valve stem isn't 90 degrees and it's closer to the edge of the rim. I really don't want...
So I ordered some SSR wheels and they told me after ordering that the stock TPMS does not work. Anyone one have any suggestions on what to do outside of using a band. I see that there is an adapter set on Amazon, but I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions on what to go with.
Thanks ahead...
The paddle shifters look great. Were those purchased as an option for the vivid racing steering wheel? I've got an a91 and would like to get some more color matching in the interior.
It's slim pickings in NC. To get a majority of plates you have to be part of some club, frat, sorority, or whatever.
Texas is on point with the way they handle customized plates.
I was looking at grabbing this, but now I'm not so sure. I'm going to contact my body shop to show them the pics. Maybe they'll be able to see if this is something they'd be able to fix if they come across the same issue. Even then I don't think that this should be happening with a $1200-$1650...
Toyota called me up twice for a questionnaire about the Supra and this is something I harped about both times. I told them that it was pretty underhanded that they had Tada-san out there touting this as a tuners car. It wouldn't surprise me if Toyota continued making it harder and harder for...
If this does come to fruition I just hope that they up that 200 number just a bit. With a number that low I wouldn't be surprised if it's only released in Japan. Seems like 1000 would be good as that would at least keep the car from going into a major bidding war and would hopefully give it a...
The reasons why companies are moving away from manuals have been stated numerous times. From torque issues, to efficiency, to people just not really buying them. It's just not worth some companies' time to invest R&D in manual transmissions. More and more companies would rather spend money in...
I have done transmissions swaps in the past in older cars. But things are different now and so many things are tied together. The only way I'd approach something like this is by gutting out the electronics of this car and doing a custom ECU.
I feel like a manual is coming at some point from the...
