That and they are also reusing A LOT of assets from the last 2 cars. That's how they are able to keep this car so cheap. I don't see it as a bad thing though other than I've seen this same interior for the last 20 or so years.

The exterior looks fine to me. I really love the...
SSR SP1 with TPMS actually mounted normally instead of strapped to the barrel. They machined the hole to accept the bigger valve. Thanks to Joshua @Meraki Autoworks forgetting this package together.

I'll get better pictures of the car once I get it washed.

It's being installed on the 26th without a tune.
The renders look cool. But I would wait for an actual physical prototype before giving them money.
With that said, I'm partial to the new tail lights. There has never been a generational design consistency with Supra tail lights. If there was, I'd probably be interested.
Damn... People had some nice rides for their first car. I don't have a pic of mine, but this is what I had.
I paid $500 for it. No radio. No A/C. 3 cylinders of fury. People called my car the "blueberry."
They are SSR Professor SP1.
Front lower control arms were installed today to allow for camber adjustment. Now the car can be properly aligned.
AMS Gloss wind deflector installed. This was done a few days ago.
I got my plaques in today. I had one fabricated from brass for my Instagram handle when I go to Cars and Coffee. And I had another one made from aluminum with the name of the car/project. It's German for "Black Silver" for those wondering.
Let's go!!!!... Just waiting on tires :(
Wheels are in, but still waiting on the rubber.
Here's a pic of the front wheel. 20x9.5 +22 MD 80mm lip with flat black face and black anodized barrel.
Got the AMS buffeting kit in Gloss black. To me, it matches perfectly and flow well with the lines of the car.
I know that there's the vastly cheaper Amazon solution, but this was just a $100 bucks brand new. Still way over priced for plastic, but whatever.
Now, after rolling the window all...

Joshua @Meraki Autoworks putting in that work. Getting my wheels and tires shipped out. They should be at the alignment shop by Friday.
Right after that I'm moving forward with the new intake manifold since it shouldn't cause a CEL or need a tune (just going to sit there looking pretty until...
Got the harness brace installed.
I also put a video of the baseline pull on the Dyno.
Not anything to do with the car, but the video was in pretty bad shape and low res. I used Adobe's AI solution to reconstruct the video and remove the horrible grain that was around it. It's not...
The creaking noises I was getting have greatly been reduced and the seat has some extra space to move back. The side panels are what stop the seat now.
I no longer have the seat auto adjusting prematurely which allows me to have a better egress setting.
I got some nice silver hardware to cover up the bare holes on the harness brace.
I'm still trying to figure out how I'm going to cover the gaps left from the faux brace from the car.
If anyone has any suggestions please let me know
You can have a June ECU that is tunable or not tunable. If you have an ECU dated in June then you have to look at the build date of the car. The car will have a specific month/day/year that it was built. A tuner can pull that data for you. The info panel on the door only gives you the...
Does anyone offer an elegant solution to capping off the holes when removing the trunk harness brace?
I know Studio RSR has a solution, but they don't have anymore in stock.
