Well... went to the shop and decided to keep it as is. He put a nice bump stop in the section to help level it out and brace it against the throttle body. Looks awesome in person. It also cover up a few of the cables that just don't look good.
Looks like I'll get the car back by next Thursday...
We were going to remove the AMS logo entirely if we went down the middle. I'm going to bring this up to see if they can make a clean cut with this curvature.
This is a work in progress. We're trying to figure out what to do with this engine cover. I like the way this looks, but I'm still thinking about just cutting it straight down the middle. Some input would be appreciated.
All of the flash tunes require shipping to Europe. Some companies are transparent about this fact and other companies obfuscate the information. I would stay clear of any company that isn't clear about the process.
Every time I get in my car to go for a weeknight or weekend drive... I think about this thread. Helps keep my ass in check and to remember to look out for other clowns.

I'm not running port injection yet. I just have the injectors mounted to plug up the holes. I'm waiting for the ECU to get unlocked before I mess around with fueling.
A sneak peak at the engine bay. No tune and no issues. I will be prettying things up in the next coming days. We've got the ID1050x injectors sitting in there as well... doing nothing. This car is just ready to have it's ECU cracked :(
The coilovers make normal and sport mode a little stiffer, but I like it that way. It's actually in the shop this week to readjust the raise the rear. I have micro-rubbing when I hit big dips when I first get on crappy bridges that have huge lips at the beginning and end of them.
